In the morning, we'll make our way to Cairo airport for an early flight to Luxor, where our adventure continues. Our first stop is the West Bank of the Nile, where we'll marvel at the impressive Colossi of Memnon. Next, we'll explore the ancient Pharaonic tombs located in the renowned Valley of the Kings, a dusty landscape steeped in history and mystique. We'll also pay a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and admire the vibrant hieroglyphics at the Medinat Habu temple before crossing back into Luxor. You'll have the freedom to spend your afternoon as you please, whether it's taking in the sights and sounds of Luxor's bustling markets or simply unwinding on the deck of your luxurious 5-star Nile cruise boat. Later in the evening, we'll embark on a walking tour of the stunning Luxor Temple, which is beautifully illuminated at night, providing a truly enchanting experience. In the afternoon, our luxurious Nile cruise boat will set sail up the Nile, passing through the lock at Esna en route to Edfu, where we'll spend the night. This stunning temple remains one of Egypt's most charming and picturesque sites, having been relocated entirely following the construction of the Dam. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure, or take an optional half-day tour to discover the old churches and synagogues of Coptic Cairo, visit the Citadel with its stunning views of the city, and explore the charming narrow streets of the Khan-el-Khalili bazaar.
