About this tour

Upon arrival at Luxor airport or station, our representative will transfer you to your Nile Cruise by private A/C van, with embarkation before 12:00 PM. In the afternoon, explore the East Bank of Luxor, including the Karnak Temples Complex, the largest structures ever built in history, dedicated to the god Amun Ra. Then, visit Luxor Temple, built by the 12th dynasty king and completed by Ramses II. After the tour, return to the ship for rest and refreshment. In the evening, enjoy an Egyptian folkloric show and dinner on board, with overnight in Luxor.

The next day, start with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery of Theban kings, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. Conclude the tour with the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch, followed by free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board.

On the third day, begin with a visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Afterward, sail to Kom Ombo to explore the temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Enjoy lunch on board and relax on the sun deck while sailing to Aswan. Itinerary

Begin your Nile Cruise adventure with a warm welcome upon arrival at Luxor Airport or train station. Our professional representative will greet you and transfer you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise ship. Embarkation begins before 12:00 PM.

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Luxor's East Bank, starting with the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built. Explore its massive columns, sanctuaries, and sacred lake dedicated to Amun Ra, the chief deity of ancient Thebes. Parts of the temple date back to the Middle Kingdom and even as far as the 3rd Dynasty.

Next, visit the magnificent Luxor Temple, constructed during the 12th Dynasty and expanded by Ramses II. Once located at the heart of ancient Thebes, the temple also honored Amun Re and served as a central religious and cultural hub.

After your historical journey, return to your cruise ship for rest and relaxation. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Egyptian folkloric show on board. Dinner will be served and you will overnight in Luxor.

Optional Tour: Excursion to Abu Simbel Temples
For those seeking to explore further, we offer an optional tour to Abu Simbel Temples, accessible either by private coach or domestic flight. Upon arrival in Aswan, meet your English-speaking guide who will transfer you by private air-conditioned van to Abu Simbel, located 180 miles south of Aswan, on the western bank of the Nile. This ancient site, once part of Nubia, was known as Meha in ancient times and first documented during the 18th Dynasty.

At Abu Simbel, visit the iconic Temples of Ramses II. The Great Temple, dedicated to the god Ra-Horakhty, is a marvel of ancient Egyptian architecture. The smaller temple is dedicated to Ramses II and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. The temples are known for their grand statues and stunning location, carved into the mountainside.

After touring Abu Simbel, drive back to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will either be transferred to your chosen hotel for check-in and rest or to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo.
